Welcome To The Milky Way Galaxy!
The home of all the terrestrial, gas
giants, and Dwarf planets. The Sun
is the hottest thing in the Solar
System. Us humans use the Sun to
get electricity.

winter to Mercury is -200 C at
night so that means cold lovers
and hot lovers can have a great
time! Mercury is the closest to
sun, as I said Mercury is a
terrestrial planet because it is the
left side of the Astroid belt!
Mercury doesn't have any
satellites (moons).

                                      Venus

                                      Venus is the second
                                      planet from the Sun,
                                      orbiting it every 224.7
                                      Earth days. Venus is a
                                      Terrestrial planet. It is
                                      as big as earth but,
                                      earth is still bigger
                                      than venus. People
                                      also names it the

                                      because of the size.

   Special Presentation of Earth
The planet has a moon which is also known as a
satellite sometimes, when the moon is blocking the
sun completely it is called an eclipse so don’t be
scared if you can’t see the sun it’s just an eclipse.

The Earth even has a strong atmosphere and thank to
it we can breathe air here.
                                                                                                                      humans home
There even is a candy called milky way as a present

                                                                                                                              planet
   for coming to Earth:

                                                     Earth
Earth is our home planet. This planet can be hot at summer and
cold at winter. Earth even has a lot of water, in fact, earth is filled
with more water than land! The white things you see in the picture
is called “clouds” they contain water. Also, when they are dark
                                                     water falls down from it.

Mars
Mars used to look like earth but then it
got too cold and later it would be harder
to live there. All of mars had water but
then, it turned to solid ice for about 2
million years! Mars is usually called “The
Red Planet” just because it contains red
sand. Human scientists send “Rovers” to
check what is going on in Mars. It is a
mechanical device that can travel far away
from earth.

Jupiter is the biggest planet in the solar
system. The Great Red Spot on Jupiter is
so large that 2 or 3 earths can fit in it can
fit in it. it has been shrinking over the 300
or so years since it was discovered and has
been observed and reported on. It was
more round 100 years ago, and much
                                         larger.

Saturn
Saturn's rings are made up a particles of
ice, and rocks covered in ice. Saturn is the
6th. planet from the Sun. Saturn is a gas
giant that means it made of gas. Saturn has
60 moons but only 52 of them have been
named officially.

                                     far away from the
                                     other planets. This

Neptune is a gas giant planet. This planet is
way colder than uranus because its far away
and this planet has very cold winds! Neptune
also has something called the great dark spot
it is about half the size of Jupiter's great red
spot (bottom right). There also is a smaller
dark spot called the scooter (Bottom left).

Comets are just like asteroids. A
comet is made up of ice. Sometime
near the sun if you see a comet it
                              should have a visible atmosphere
otherwise, it might be a comet.
Milky Way
Galaxy
            The milky way galaxy
The milky way galaxy contains the solar
system. From all these these you should
know what is inside this galaxy. There are
many galaxies in the universe, scientists
have already discovered more than 64
            different galaxies including ours!
Scientists are still trying to visit those
places but they don’t have the right
            technology.

Mohammad's Solar System Brochure

  • 1. By: Mohammad The tour of our solar system since 2011 Welcome To The Milky Way Galaxy! The home of all the terrestrial, gas giants, and Dwarf planets. The Sun is the hottest thing in the Solar System. Us humans use the Sun to get electricity. Sun The Solar System http:// skyserver.sdss.org/ solarsystem/
  • 2. Mohammad’s Tour of the s.s. Sun The Planets This is Mercury 1st Terrestrial planet No moons There are Terrestrial the Venus 2nd No moons Terrestrial planet planets, Gas Earth 3rd 1 moon Terrestrial order of planet Giants, and Mars 4th 2 moons Terrestrial Planet Dwarf the solar Jupiter 1st Gas giant 63 moons Saturn 2nd Gas giant 60 moons Uranus 3rd Gas giant 27 moons planets. system! Neptune Kuiper Belt 4th Gas giant Has Astroids 13 moons Big and Small
  • 3. Mercury Mercury is the first planet from the Sun. You can have a great Mercury summer at Mercury it is 400 C at daytime but, you also can a great winter to Mercury is -200 C at night so that means cold lovers and hot lovers can have a great time! Mercury is the closest to sun, as I said Mercury is a terrestrial planet because it is the left side of the Astroid belt! Mercury doesn't have any satellites (moons). http://solarsystem.nasa.gov/planets/profile.cfm?Object=Mercury
  • 4. http://nssdc.gsfc.nasa.gov/ Venus Venus is the second planet from the Sun, orbiting it every 224.7 Earth days. Venus is a Terrestrial planet. It is as big as earth but, earth is still bigger than venus. People also names it the sister of earth because of the size. The Suns rays shoot into venus and because of the atmosphere the rays get stuck in venus. It Venus just bounces off the atmosphere back into
  • 5. Earth http://wallpaper-s.org/ 11__Earth,_Lightwave_3D.htm Special Presentation of Earth The planet has a moon which is also known as a satellite sometimes, when the moon is blocking the sun completely it is called an eclipse so don’t be scared if you can’t see the sun it’s just an eclipse. The Earth even has a strong atmosphere and thank to it we can breathe air here. humans home There even is a candy called milky way as a present planet for coming to Earth: Earth Earth is our home planet. This planet can be hot at summer and cold at winter. Earth even has a lot of water, in fact, earth is filled with more water than land! The white things you see in the picture is called “clouds” they contain water. Also, when they are dark water falls down from it.
  • 6. http://commons.wikimedia.org/ wiki/File:NASA_Mars_Rover.jpg Mars Mars used to look like earth but then it got too cold and later it would be harder to live there. All of mars had water but then, it turned to solid ice for about 2 million years! Mars is usually called “The Red Planet” just because it contains red sand. Human scientists send “Rovers” to check what is going on in Mars. It is a mechanical device that can travel far away from earth. Mars http://nssdc.gsfc.nasa.gov/ image/planetary/mars/ marsglobe2.jpg
  • 7. http://nssdc.gsfc.nasa.gov/planetary/ image/jupiter_cassini.jpg Jupiter Jupiter is the biggest planet in the solar system. The Great Red Spot on Jupiter is so large that 2 or 3 earths can fit in it can fit in it. it has been shrinking over the 300 or so years since it was discovered and has been observed and reported on. It was more round 100 years ago, and much larger. Jupiter
  • 8. http://www.spacetoday.org/SolSys/ Saturn/SaturnHistory.html Saturn Saturn's rings are made up a particles of ice, and rocks covered in ice. Saturn is the 6th. planet from the Sun. Saturn is a gas giant that means it made of gas. Saturn has 60 moons but only 52 of them have been named officially. Saturn
  • 9. Uranus Uranus is a gas giant http:// darkestlearner.files.wordpress.com/ planet. It is also the 2007/03/uranus.jpg 7th planet from the sun its a very cold planet because it is far away from the other planets. This planet may have very hot water in the core. Uranus
  • 10. http://nssdc.gsfc.nasa.gov/ planetary/image/ Neptune neptune_voy2.jpg Neptune is a gas giant planet. This planet is way colder than uranus because its far away and this planet has very cold winds! Neptune also has something called the great dark spot it is about half the size of Jupiter's great red spot (bottom right). There also is a smaller dark spot called the scooter (Bottom left).
  • 11. http:// thesolarsystem.pbworks.com/w/ belt Kuiper page/22154194/Kuiper-Belt Kuiper belt The Kuiper belt is made of ice and are comets (you can find out more about them on the next page). As you can see the Kuiper belt is near the last planet from the Sun, which is the planet Neptune. Kuiper belt http://www.orderoftheplanets.org/ wp-content/uploads/2010/02/ kuiper-belt.jpg
  • 12. Comets http://star- lunac.blogspot.com/2010/11/ comets.html Comets Comets are just like asteroids. A comet is made up of ice. Sometime near the sun if you see a comet it should have a visible atmosphere otherwise, it might be a comet.
  • 13. Milky Way Galaxy The milky way galaxy The milky way galaxy contains the solar system. From all these these you should know what is inside this galaxy. There are many galaxies in the universe, scientists have already discovered more than 64 different galaxies including ours! Scientists are still trying to visit those places but they don’t have the right technology.
