• LinkedIn has 70 million members, Facebook
500 million and Twitter 150 million
• In Belgium LI has 700K members, FB 3.5M
and Twitter 100K users
• In Belgium 10.000 people join LinkedIn on a
monthly basis

• Recruitment companies are present in social
by mainly through their employees
• Other than LinkedIn and Newsletters, the rest
of social media is unknown territory
• Recruitment companies are not visible nor
engaging their candidates – One way traffic!
• Social media is seen as another pool to fish in
