4. Jake The Dog
• Jake the Dog is a main character in the American animated
television series Adventure Time. Jake is Finn's best friend and
adoptive brother. He is a 28-yearold—in "magical dog years"—
shape-shifting dog. His magic powers allow him to stretch or
shrink any part of his body to any shape and almost any size,
ranging from becoming gigantic to becoming incredibly small.
Acting as a confidant and mentor to his energetic brother
(though he has a tendency to give somewhat questionable
advice), Jake has a laid-back attitude in most situations, but
loves adventure and will eagerly fight when he needs to. His
powers help Finn considerably in combat and transportation, but
are also sometimes used as nothing more than jovial forms of
expression. Jake is in a relationship with Lady Rainicorn; they
have five children together as seen in "Jake the Dad". He met
Lady in the pilot episode and is quite skilled at playing the viola,
which houses a worm called Shelby.

in which humans still dominate the Earth. The character made his debut in
the original pilot wherein he was named "Pen”, Jeremy's older brother.
6. Ice King
The Ice King frequently kidnaps princesses throughout Ooo to forcefully
marry them, Princess Bubblegum being his usual target. His ice-based
magic abilities come from a magical crown he wears, which directly
causes his insanity. Ice King is actually lonely and misunderstood, having
a generally benevolent relationship with the penguins of his realm (and
when he briefly had a wife, actually treated her with great care and love).
Furthermore, he is secretly envious of Finn and Jake for being such good
friends.
7. Princess Bubblegum
• Princess Bubblegum (full name Princess Bonnibel Bubblegum, often
called PB and on occasion Peebles and other nicknames) is a main
character on the series Adventure Time that first appeared in the
Animated Short. She is the benevolent ruler of the Candy Kingdom, and
is Finn's former crush. She is also Ice King's most often-targeted princess.
Marceline calls her by her first name, Bonnibel. At the end of "Mortal
Recoil," she was transformed into a 13-year-old, but returned to her
normal biological age of 18 years in "Too Young.

player, video editor, and video player. It makes its appearance in the
title scene of the Theme Song of every episode of Adventure Time, just
as Finn and Jake pound their fists together. BMO is characterized as a
loyal, trusting, and helpful friend who is protective of Finn and Jake
