This powerpoint presentation was put together by Deborah Murray, Associate Dean for Extension and Outreach at the University of Georgia, and presented at the July meeting of the Georgia Children's Advocacy Network (GA-CAN!) Off-Session Policy Series. This month we discussed childhood obesity.

3. UGA Obesity Initiative
 As Georgia’s land-grant university, UGA is able to
harness diverse and extensive obesity-related
instruction, research activities, and public service
and outreach components.
 UGA will work cooperatively with interested
parties, including other Georgia research
institutions, to help bring obesity under control.
