STUDENT SERVICES
• Recreation & Health – The student borrowing the
equipment from the LRC is responsible to pay for repair or
replacement of the equipment where Destruction or Damage to
TAFE SA equipment. (Education. Regulation 1999. Reg.44)

• Student Behavioural Contact – set conditions to
remain enrolled
• Apprentices/Trainee’s – reported direct to your

• May include legal charges being made by the

• Suspended from on campus attendance, directed by the
Regional Manager
• May be expelled from a TAFE SA campus or all TAFE
SA campus as directed by the Minister for Education.

O.H.S. & W. Responsibilities
•Follow standard safe work instructions & Institute policies – wear
PPE where required
•Identify & report hazards in the workplace & act responsible around
them
•Evacuation procedures.- when the evacuation sire sounds – leave
the building immediately never re-enter an evacuated building
until told to.
•Never walk past an unsafe behaviour – prevent an injury & inform
where an incorrectly / dangerously operating of machinery /
equipment if happening. Be responsible for the safety of yourself &
others
•Violence & bullying in the work place – Zero tolerance -

•Do Not Attend TAFE Under the influence of drugs and or alcohol– impairs
work performance & the safety of yourself & others.
•No Eating - Drinking or Smoking is permitted in the buildings/classrooms or
enclosed areas between buildings eg: breezeway & between D blocks – 10m
from doorways & air intakes – 30m from gas cylinders.
•Personal hygiene – Please be aware that body odour may be unpleasant &
cause discomfort to other people.
•Spitting saliva on the ground or at others is not tolerated !!
•Put Rubbish in the bins
