The document summarizes three different advertising projects created by the author:
1. A mobile phone advert targeted at young girls, using bright pink and purple colors, flowers, and "girly" text to highlight the "Pearl edition" of a new phone.
2. A festival advert including the festival name, dates, artists, and social media links to sell tickets. It uses a manipulated fisheye photo and colors to represent spotlights.
3. A holiday advert for India using a calm lake background and pictures of waterfalls and beaches to appeal to older couples seeking a quiet getaway. It includes the price and website for more information.

Media adverts evaluation

2. For this piece of my coursework I needed to
create three different adverts. The first advert I
decided to create was a product, which was a
mobile phone; this advert was aimed at females.
It is clear that my target audience is young girls
because the main colours are bright pinks and
purples, also the phone is a new high tech
mobile which would be popular amongst the
younger generation. I have used bright colours
to attract attention. Also by using a spotlight it
shows the main focus of what the advert is
trying to sell. I have kept the advert girly using
swirls and flowers. The text is also angelic and
girly, I have placed the word ‘Pearl edition’ in
bigger writing at the top as it stands out and
shows its importance, I have used two different
colours, gold and pink, gold conotates royalty
and exclusivity. I have also included important
information which is needed in adverts such as;
The price, the mobile phone companies which
you can get the phone on, the model of the
phone, and the important extra ‘3G’.
3. I also created a festival advert, I used a
fisheye picture of a festival as the
background image, I then manipulated the
image with various colours to look like
spotlights. At the top of the poster I
included the festival name which is ‘Ruislip
Festival’. I needed to include important
information which would help sell tickets for
the festival such as who would be
featuring, the dates the tickets go on sale
and the actual date of the festival. I also
included online links such as Face Book
and Twitter where fans would be able to
follow the news on the festival. I included
different pictures of artists which would be
featuring in the festival. I feel this poster is
aimed at a wide audience as anyone can
go to a festival.
4. This is a holiday poster advertising a holiday in
India. Its is a relaxed looking poster and would
appeal to the older generation or couples for a
quite get away. I used a calm lake as the main
background image of the poster, I then added
various pictures of different places in India,
such as waterfalls and quite beaches, these
pictures would appeal to the audience as they
would be places they would want to visit on
their holiday. I also added ‘With love from India’
to give a more romantic feel to the advert. I
included key information such as the price
‘£499’ and the website for more information.
