1. Reflectionunit 2: Coursebookevaluation
In this unit we were expected to evaluate a coursebook and to complete a chart related to
activities (adopt-adapt-reject). This activity was totally helpful due to it taught us the different
criteria to keep in mind at the moment of using a book. As teachers to be, course book are going
to be a guide that is going to facilitate our job, but we cannot take them for granted, instead of
that, we need to analyze them and look for the details that we can improve or take advantage of
some activities.
One of the most important aspects to highlight of this course is the responsibility and
organization that it demands, because the assignments were rather extensive and they needed a
lot of work. Moreover, the fact that the assignment was written helped to improve the writing skill
and also reading skill.
