This document discusses the principles of sustainable forest management and the results of experimental thinning trials conducted in mixed conifer and beech forests in Montenegro. It presents posters on the topics of sustainable forest management techniques used in pine and pine-spruce forests in the Maočnica and Vezišnica forest units, as well as beech forests in the Štitarica, Vučje and Mušovića Rijeka forest units. The posters were created by Franc Ferlin and Dragana Đorđević - Potpara and presented in Podgorica, Montenegro on December 23, 2010.
