EVERYTHI
In the beginningHad been wanting to do a “23 things” style PD program for my faculty, wasn’t sure how it would workInspiration
At AASL 2011 in Minneapolis, saw this program, which inspired me
Take and customize for my schoolWe’re the lions
Once I’d outlined the program, brought the idea to adminThey have a lot of faith in me (because I’ve built it)And from there I needed to sell my teachers on itAnd so, taking a cue from pharmaceutical companies who’ve developed a drug and then need to figure out what disease it cures
And so I invented TADIS—Technology Application Dysregulation Irritation Syndrome Show video Trust my faculty has in me "Can I get a picture of you looking annoyed in front of a computer?" "Sure"
The nuts and bolts of how it worked
Created a Google Form for people to share their blog information
And a tracking spreadsheet (people kept me honest on this
Costs involved were minimal, which was part of appeal for adminTotal program cost less than $500http://www.flickr.com/photos/jjjohn/2723422506/
So what was the impact?
