GLO's catering is a subsidiary of G.L.O. INC which is a nonprofit for teen girls ages 11 to 19 in Huntsville, AL. We pride
ourselves on providing good down home southern cooking! Special menu items are made to order under our "fresh
never frozen" policy. Our establishment is the perfect place for anyone of any age as we strive to provide a home like
experience with "good ole southern hospitality". Best of all profits go to the benefit of G.L.O. INC to help our teen girls.
Location
One of the city's fastest developing locations in South Huntsville off Memorial Parkway. The lease is $5,000 per month,
and is equipped with all commercial kitchen appliances and dining area suitable for several families dining in.

Atmosphere
The dining area will mimic a cozy home like atmosphere with log cabin walls and cherry oak laminate flooring with
Castlewood walnut chandelier. The kitchen area will have standard white walls with black tile flooring.
Marketing Strategy
As we're all aware, word of mouth is one of the most trusted forms of marketing. While being a very simple strategy, we
are sure this will be our most successful way of marketing. As individuals, we're already known locally for the good food
we prepare. We've even had so many people tell us we should start a catering service because they'd faithfully support.
We've even had people try our food (free) and offer to buy more! We also plan to market flyers throughout the city and
radio announcements to get the word out to an even larger audience.
Financial Plan
We project start up cost around $150,000. Our goal is to raise $100,000 through our FoodStart campaign. $40,000 will
be financed through an individual personal investor with the remaining $10,000 being raised by G.L.O. INC through car-
washes, bake sales and discount card fundraisers. This will give us the initial start up amount needed to secure the
location, electrical/maintenance servicing and interior design. We project first year sales to double our initial start up
cost with consistent profit increases in the years following.
