Coffee Mornings
We will be resuming our Coffee Mornings from January next year, as they
have proved to be successful for new Mums. Moving forward we would like
to invite both new and current Mums.
So why not come along and enjoy some tea or coffee with cake. Just relax
for a chat while your little ones have a romp around our soft play or sing
along to some Nursery song. We might even get messy with some sensory play activities which
will stimulate your baby’s senses.
Our dates For January will be Thursday the 14th
and Thursday 28th
from 10am – 11:30am.
Please do ensure that you book as space is limited.
5. Road Safety
Now the nights are getting darker, please take extra care when arriving and leaving the
Nursery.
Travelling by car – Remember to exit the Nursery parking area to the right. Many cars will be
coming up the slip road and exiting onto Portsmouth Road. From the narrow slip
road it is very difficult to see oncoming traffic due to the bend in the road.
Travelling by foot - if you are walking to Nursery you must use the traffic
lights to cross over. They are there to help you cross the road safely. It may
seem like it takes a bit longer but it is much safer for you and your little one, not to
mention teaching your child about road traffic safety.
Guinea Pigs
Our Nursery Guinea Pigs would love to be a part of your family for the weekend.
So if you would like to take them home please let us know. We will get them packed
up with a readymade cage, a change of bedding and some food to go home with you.
Just pop into the office or give us a ring and we will organise it for you.

Our Wonderful Staff
As the year draws to a close new opportunities come our way which leads to sad goodbyes
but a welcome, to new friends.
We are very happy to congratulate Taylor, on her recent engagement. However, sadly for us,
Taylor has decided to relocate to her fiancés. She will be leaving after many years with us at
the end of December but we wish her much happiness in the next stage of her life.
Jade will also be leaving us at the end of December. She has been at Fitzsimmons for a year
and a half and will be sadly missed by both the staff and all of the children she has worked
closely with.
