During the past over than 20 years’, I have been working in several IT areas. My
professional experience was built with activities in consultancy companies (with a
similar profile to ACCENTURE, STEFANINI, TATA, CAPGEMINI etc.). This allowed me to
work in diversified IT activities in different companies from several business sector
Thus, I could put many experiences in a large description. I have a huge experience in
several IT areas as a manager (different management skills) in big companies, national
and multinational companies, such as banking, industrial companies and mining
companies.
Instead of presenting an extensive listing, I will make an overview of the major
activities
I worked at ATT INFORMATICA (http://www.attps.com.br/) for more than 20 years. I
have a large experience focused on financial market (banking) having worked as a
consultant, responsible for requirements modelling, analysis and design of information
systems, process customer relationship management and information systems
deployment in several financial institutions in different Brazilian Provinces.
My Job activities can be summarized in areas such as Requirements Modelling,
Information System Data and Processes Modelling, Development System Management,
Deployment Management, Relationship Management post sales follow, customizations
negotiation etc.
The company (http://www.attps.com.br/) has developed an ERP for Financial
Institutions (banks) (an ERP called FINANSYS and responsible for automating the bank
back office). I took part in the entire project and I was in charge to the entire project
(from ERP design and development until to the testing processes and delivery releases
definitions)
I also worked in charge for defining and implementing the PMO and all the standards
associated with the implementation of FINANSYS in several Brazilian banks.
In addition to I also have acted as a project manager in several deployments of this
ERP. Managing staff responsible for the installation, configuration and training and
management, the integrations and customizations needed to run the FINANSYS ERP.
The company (http://www.attps.com.br/) developed another ERP (named AMADEUS
that can be implemented in another business areas – PENSION FUNDING).
The standard process that had been used in the FINANSYS PMO become a success case
and AMADEUS started to use the same (I worked as a PROJECT MANAGER for
AMADEUS ERP implementations too)
In this way, I can say that I have an extensive experience with ERP (from development
processes to the implementation of management processes)

2. During the last 2 years a worked as an international business consultant and as a
senior project manager at HEXAGON (http://www.hexagonmining.com) in Chile and
Tanzania (places where Hexagon team was developing and prospecting new business)
(I had been worked at these country in many opportunities). I was in charge as a
project manager. The projects included ERP implementations (an ERP named SMART
MINE UNDERGROUND) (a solution to control the ore production in gold mines)
(BARRICK, KINROSS and YAMANA companies). Great experiences with several players
from different countries and diversified anthropological team.
In addition I would like to mention that I have others experiences in the technology
market in areas such as development (modelling and design) and implementation of
information systems, management and project planning (coordination and
management teams), customer and development service management and
implementation of various methodologies related to processes (technical and
management – including experiences in the definition of a PMO area) of IT.
I have a huge experience in being responsible for the definition and implementation of
unified model for managing projects based on best market practices (BMP, PMO,
PMBOK, ITIL, Agile and SCRUM) and PMO definitions, implementation and
management.
I am a Portuguese native speaker, fluent in Spanish and English acquired in course in
Cape Town and Madrid and with private lessons and professional experience abroad.
Large experiences as a tourist in many vacations trips to North America and Europe.
Basic knowledge in Mandarin.
I have an academic experience over than 15 years as a University Professor in an
Information Systems Degree Course working as a responsible for many subjects:
Fundamentals of Information Systems, Systems Development Methodologies,
Information Systems Analysis, Project Management and System Information
Governance. (I worked as a teacher for more than 15 years in a private university -
http://www.newtonpaiva.br/ ). I consider this experience as a teacher a very relevant
information because this can confirm the use of an extensive academic and knowledge
experience to an association with the practical uses in real life world (the world of the
business. (I worked during the day in the corporate world companies and at the
evening as university professor - it was a very hard time, but it was a great professional
achievement)
