Fashion for 2011: FEMME FASHIONISTA WEEKEND WRAPUP
1. Fashion for 2011: FEMME FASHIONISTA WEEKEND
WRAPUP
It’s that time again for our weekly fashion wrap up from the red carpet fashionistas!
Emma Stone and Mila Kunis both see red at the Friends With Benefits premiere;
Hailee Steinfeld, Emma Roberts and more stylish A-listers sparkle in this week’s best
red carpet fashionable moments.
Zoe Saldana showed off her legs in this summer suit by Balmain at the Captain
America: The First Avenger premiere in Hollywood on Tuesday. In addition to her
printed bomber jacket with gold epaulets and matching shorts, the former Avatar
star slipped into some Brian Atwood heels.
2. Amid the many beautiful starlets, Hollywood legacy Emma Roberts shined at the Miu
Miu premiere of Muta on Tuesday in a gold, short-sleeved dress from the design
house with an embellished neckline. The Scream 4 actress paired the dress with
a black Prada clutch and matching peep-toe Prada platforms.
3. Friends With Benefits’ leading lady Mila Kunis joined her co-star Justin Timberlake
at the New York premiere of their movie on Monday in an off-the-shoulder, body-
hugging dress. Kunis’ ruched red Lanvin Resort look was paired with simple black
satin Lanvin heels that blended in with the black carpet, but the actress accented her
ensemble with gold jewelry by Fred Leighton.
4. Kick-Ass actress Chloe Moretz posed at the Veuve Clicquot Gold Cup Polo Final in
England on Sunday in an all-ivory ensemble. The 14-year-old fashionista paired her
simple vest with matching Giambattista Valli cropped pants and accessorized with a
straw boater hat, gold lariat necklace, and lilac strappy sandals.
5. Self-styled Diane Kruger was one of many of actresses at Miu Miu’s Muta premiere,
also wearing a beautiful look from the designer. The star’s 1940s-style black dress
featured a keyhole back, floral embellishment on the sleeves, and was accented by a
bow at the waist. Kruger’s hair also channeled the era, but she added black strappy
Jimmy Choos to modernize the look.
6. America’s sweetheart Jennifer Aniston ventured across the pond for the London
premiere of Horrible Bosses on Wednesday in a Valentino Couture cocktail fish-scale
dress. She added an elegant pair of Tom Ford ankle-strap heels in a pale ballet pink
that tied like dance shoes in the back.
7. She may only be 14, but Oscar-nominated actress Hailee Steinfeld was a guest of
honor at Miu Miu’s premiere of Lucrecia Martel’s short film Muta in Beverly Hills on
Tuesday. The current face of Miu Miu’s ad campaign wore a pale pink sheath dress
with an embellished Peter Pan collar, which she accessorized with a matching satin
clutch from Prada, Miu Miu’s parent fashion house, and nude Miu Miu patent leather
peep-toes.
8. Budding style icon Emma Stone may have been sporting blond locks for The
Amazing Spider-Man, but the actress made a full-fledged return to red on Monday at
the New York premiere of Friends With Benefits, in which she plays Justin
Timberlake’s former flame. Stone showed off her bright side in this Giambattista
Valli look, featuring a red cashmere sweater with a pink silk peplum skirt. She went
with a pair of nude Christian Louboutins, but even carried the pink-and-red theme
into her jewelry with Jack Vartanian pink sapphire earrings and a rose gold ring.
9. Model-turned-actress Rosie Huntington-Whiteley stunned at the Japan premiere of
her first major film role, Transformers: Dark of the Moon on Saturday. The Victoria’s
Secret model looked sophisticated, chic, and sexy in this Chloé halter gown with a
plunging neckline and sweeping train that had a bow tied to the back. Whiteley
outshined the sultry look of her Transformers predecessor, Megan Fox.
