Construction: Poster
Idea 1:                                                              Idea 2:




These two images show two different ways in which I experimented with the position of the title of the film
and the tagline. Poster 1 shows the title written across the page with the tagline written sideways. Poster 2
shows the tagline placed across the page, quite a bit above the production credits, with the title of the film
slanted at an angle above the tagline. I tried this because it kind of gave the effect of being stamped on and
helped make the page look less sharp and linear, to give a bit of effect. I decided to proceed with poster 1
because I preferred and also members of the target audience said that poster 1 looked better.
I looked at the production credits for
Indiana Jones so that I could get a sense
of what is included in the production
credits. In Microsoft Word, I then made a
list of what needs to be included. I then
created my own production credits.
This screen shot shows how I initially set up Photoshop so that my poster was the correct size, which is A4.
After setting the page to A4, I opened my image. Because my image wasn’t A4, I had to resize it.
