• Ukrainian Investment Forum (annual event)
Held in November 2010
28 speakers: UIF was attended by the chief executives of the international financial
organizations, leading Ukrainian and international banks, private equity funds, stock exchanges and
investment companies, including: IMF, the World Bank, EBRD, IFC, PwC, state commission on securities
and stock markets, Horizon Capital, Concorde Capital, Advent International, Vienna Stock
Exchange, Deutsche Börse, BNP Paribas, ING and others
Over 300 participants - well balanced in terms of both investment capital consumers / suppliers ratio
and specialization of individual investment professionals:
42% of the Forum participants are top-executives of real economy companies
12% - investment banking professionals
10% - direct investment funds representatives
9% - representatives of commercial banks
8% - auditors and consultants
7% - lawyers
12% - representatives of government, public organizations, business schools, journalists and
others
Only 12% of the Forum participants are the members of CFA Ukraine, while the remaining 88% are
not, which confirms the interest of a wide range of Ukrainian investment market participants to the Forum.

What It Is: The CFA GIRC promotes best practices in
equity research among the next generation of analysts
through hands-on mentoring and intensive training in Participating University Teams
company analysis and presentation skills. Donetsk National Technical University
How It Works: CFA Societies and local universities Ivan Franko National University of L'viv
assemble university teams of 3-5 students each. Teams are National University of Kyiv-Mohyla
mentored by industry professionals in writing an equity Academy
research report on a publicly traded company. The teams NTUU "KPI" IASA

One of the main objectives is to ensure that CFA program becomes the top

facilitate the implementation of CFA Institute Code of Ethics and GIPS within the

Working on making CFA designation an officially recognized practitioners license
