Multiphase flow occurs when more than one material is present in a flow field and the materials are present in different physical states of matter or are present in the same physical state of matter but with distinct chemical properties. The materials present in multiphase flow are often identified as belonging to the primary or secondary phases. The primary phase is characterized as the phase that is continuous about, or enveloping of, the secondary phase. The secondary phase is thought to be the material that is distributed throughout the primary phase. Each phase present in multiphase flow may be either laminar or turbulent, which leads to a variety of potential flow regimes for multiple phases in the same channel. Project is based on two-phase flow and its measurement (water + air/vapor). This is frequently encountered in thermal and nuclear power plants, R&A/C and cryogenic applications, chemical industries and biotechnology etc., the arrangement of a vertical tube with two water inlets and three air inlets. By varying air and water flow rates following things are demonstrated and calculated: Flow regime identification through visualization Pressure drop measurement The analysis carried out by the flow of air + water mixture using by Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) technique

Abstract: Self-confidence is the belief that one can successfully perform or desired behavior. It is an important factor to achieve our ultimate goal. Football, Kho-Kho and Kabaddi are very famous game in India involving various physical fitness components like speed, co-ordination, power, strength, agility etc. The Researcher was very keen to find out the self-confidence level of North Bengal University Football, Kho-Kho and Kabaddi players before attending the inter university tournament. The purpose of this study was to compare the selfconfidence level between Football, Kho-Kho and Kabaddi players. Eighteen each male University level Football, Kho-Kho and Kabaddi players from North University (Mean Age 23) were volunteered in this study. Hardy and Nelson (1992) questionnaire was used to measured the self confidence level of the subjects. One way analysis of variance (ANOVA) was used to find the overall mean significance difference of three groups. List significance difference (LSD) post-hoc test was used to measure the paired mean significance difference. The result indicated there was a mean significance difference in self-confidence level between Football, Kho-Kho and Kabaddi players of North Bengal University. The researcher was concluded that Kho-Kho players are more confident than the Football and Kabaddi players before attending the respective inter university tournaments. Key Words: Self-Confidence, Football, Kho-Kho, Kabaddi.

Popularity of High-Rise structures of rigid joint frame system are incresing day by day to accommodate growing people in metropoliton city and to construct the structures without any special structural component. However combination of rigid frame with RC structure get 30 storey as maximum storey and prone to collapse under severe displacement, axial force and moment, if the P-Delta effects does not included in analysis and design phase. Due to complexity and low knowledge of P-Delta analyses designers, engineers and architectures are prone to perform Linear Static analysis which may eventually become a cause of catastropic collapse of the high-rise. 12 cases and 2 different analysis are performed to give a light on the P-Delta effect in RC Structures of Rigid Joint which will aware and suggest concering person to understand, make experience and perform P-Delta analysis of the high-rise for safety using numeriacal modelling which may accelerate the process and reduce the complexities.

In the present investigation, a Zn-22%Al alloy is used as the matrix material and fly ash as the filler material. The composite is produced using powder metallurgy techniques. The fly ash is added in 2%, 4%, and 6% by wt% to the sintering metal. The composite is tested for hardness, density and tensile strength test. Microstructure examination is done using a high resolution optical microscope to obtain the distribution of fly ash in the Zn-Al matrix. Test results indicate that as fly ash content is increased, there is a considerable increase in hardness and tensile strength but decrease in density.

The curative effect of Parinari curatellifolia leaf extract on epiglottitis was investigated. The air dried leaf of Parinari curatellifolia was extracted using the soxhlet extractor. Crude extract of the plant was found to be rich in phytochemicals of medicinal importance such as alkaloids, tannins, saponins, flavonoids, steroids, and cardiac glycosides. Acetic acid extract had the highest antimicrobial activity with zones of inhibition ranging from 20.0 ± 0.6 to 28.3 ± 0.3 against the test organisms. This activity was not significantly (P<0.05) different from leofloxacin with zones of inhibition ranging from 25.0 ± 0.6 to 29.3 ± 0.3 which was the highest activity among the standard drugs used. The minimum inhibitory concentration (MIC) of the extract was found to be 5mg/ml against Pseudomonas sp and Staphylococcus aureus, indicating broad spectrum activity. Results were discussed in respect to traditional treatment of epiglottitis.

Abstract : According to the request of advance communication field there should be high data rate in addition to both power efficiency and lower bit error rate. This request of high data rate can be achieved by the multi carrier modulation scheme using the OFDM technique. But the great drawback of the OFDM technique is its high peak to average power ratio (PAPR). High PAPR reduces OFDM signals by driving the analog amplifier to work in the nonlinear region, changing this way the signal and making the amplifier to consume more power. To reduce the PAPR methods exist which adjust or present new signals to battle large signal peaks. The methods which use data carrying channels are called active channel methods and which use redundant channel are called non active channel methods. This work deals with reduction of the PAPR of OFDM signal using both Active and Non Active Channels. Clipping technique has been applied to active channels and Tone reservation has been applied to Non Active Channels. By using both channels we can get considerable reduction in PAPR. Keywords:Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM), Peak to Average Power Ratio (PAPR), Power Amplifier (PA).
