If I Were 22
It's not that you shouldn't trust anyone, if anything you have to
give trust to gain it.
What you have to strive to do is understand everyone has
different motivations - some good, some bad, some smart, some
dumb but always that little bit different, unique and personal.
It's not a case of getting to know a person well, it's a case of
identifying what is motivating someone's actions, whether they
appear to support you or be in conflict with you, or both.
In this regard, the why is so much more important than the how.
Thus: listen more, speak less; observe more, seek attenton less;
do more for you and be influenced less.
