9. An 18-year-old Rutgers
University student named Tyler
Clementi committed suicide in
September of 2010. After
discovering that his romantic
encounters with another man had
been exposed via webcam by his
roommate, he took his own life by
jumping off of the George
Washington Bridge.
The general principle of Tyler
Clementi’s case is that he killed
himself because he could not

death.
