• Liquid Modernity:
live becomes more liquid: time use
and time structure is no longer fixed,
human togetherness is changing, real
worlds become virtual worlds. "Liquid
life” influences also media usage/
habits and the relevance of brands.
That implies more freedom of choice
in all areas of human life. On the
other hand, there is a risk of
senselessness, missing structures,
unattainability, and under-defined
state of life.
10. 5 mobile trends by
Gerd Leonard
• Mobile advertising
“ads will become content, almost
entirely. Advertisers will, within 2-5
years, massively convert to mobile,
location-aware, targeted, opt-ed-in,
social and user-distributed 'ads';
from 1% of their their budgets to at
least 1/3 of their total advertising
budget. Advertising becomes
'ContVertising' - and Google's
revenues will be 10x of what they are
today, in 5 years, driven by mobile,
and by video”.
11. 5 mobile trends by
Gerd Leonard
• Tablet devices
“will become the way many of us will
'read' magazines, books, newspapers
and even 'attend' live concerts,
conferences and events. Tablets will
kick off the era of mobile augmented
reality. This will be a huge boon to the
content industries, worldwide - but
only if they can drop their mad content
protection schemes, and slash the
prices in return for a much larger user
base.
12. 5 mobile trends by
Gerd Leonard
• Many makers of simple smart
phones - probably starting with
Nokia- will make their devices
available for free - but will take a
small cut (similar to the current
credit-cards) from all transactions
that are done through the devices,
e.g. banking, small purchases, on-
demand content etc. Mobile
phones become wallets, banks
and ATMs
13. 5 mobile trends by
Gerd Leonard
• Quite a few mobile phones will not
run on any particular networks, i.e.
without [I mean unlocked] SIM
cards. The likes of Google
(Nexus), and maybe Skype, LG or
Amazon will offer mobile phones
that [may eventually] will work
only on Wifi / WiMax, LTE or
mashed-access networks, and will
offer more or less free calls. This
will finally wake up the mobile
network operators, and force
them to really move up the food-
chain - into content and the
provision of 'experiences'
14. 5 mobile trends by
Gerd Leonard
• Content will be bundled into
mobile service contracts, starting
with music, i.e. once your mobile
phone / computer is online, much
of the use of the content
(downloaded or streamed) will be
included. Bundles and flat-rates -
many of them Advertising 2.0-
supported - will become the
primary way of consuming, and
interacting with content. First
music, then books, new and
magazines, then film & TV.

17. Aanbod van Arbeid in
2020, TNO
• Meer ouderen, minder jongeren
• Culturele diversiteit van het
arbeidsaanbod: meer verschillende
culturen en achtergronden op de
arbeidsmarkt.
• Feminisering van de werkvloer: meer
vrouwen op de arbeidsmarkt.
• Verschuiving in de kwalificatiestructuur
van het arbeidsaanbod; langer
doorstuderen levert meer
arbeidsaanbod voor middelbare en
hogere beroepen en minder voor
elementaire en lagere beroepen.
18. Prof. Wim de Ridder,

• Er zijn drie sectoren waar de
komende jaren belangrijke
veranderingen worden verwacht.
Deze terreinen betreffen de
energiemarkt, de woon- en
werkomgeving en de

• In 2020 zijn er een aantal veranderingen
ten opzichte van nu te verwachten:
Samenwerking is het nieuwe toverwoord.
Niet alleen met leerlingen en collega’s,
maar ook met het bedrijfsleven. Geen
enkele docent nog kan zeggen niets van
het beroep af te weten waarvoor hij
opleidt. Als de trend doorzet leidt dit tot
nieuwe gildes.
Docenten gaan zelf lesprogramma's
ontwikkelen.
In plaats van verslagleggen, zullen
studenten in de verre toekomst steeds
vaker leren creëren. De standaard
"busopstelling"in de klas is hiermee
definitief voorbij. De didactische
differentiatie is heel erg toegenomen.

“After all that time alone, can
gamers be great team players?”
Hun onderzoek wijst uit dat
gamers niet geïsoleerd, introvert
of ‘unsociable’ zijn (Beck, Wade,
2006, 112). Ze zijn er zelfs van
overtuigd dat gamers
toekomstige leiderfiguren
worden:
Members of the game
generation have the makings of
of great CEOs (Beck, Wade,
153).

• Samenwerken met het bedrijfsleven. Wat voor studenten willen ze?
• Niet bang zijn om geld te verdienen.
Docenten worden ondernemers. Inspiratielab/kennis vermarkten (abonnementen
aan bedrijfsleven verkopen)
• Overkill van CMD studenten ivm groot aantal CMD opleidingen. Drempel verhogen
bij ingang zodat waarde van student/opleiding vergroot.
• Labs ontwikkelen ism bedrijfsleven
