About Eric CL Gan
Managing Director (Conpex International Consortium)
Architect Eric CL Gan is also the director of Conpex Solutions Sdn Bhd and Teo A. Khing
Design Consultants Sdn Bhd (TAK Group). He is a member of FIABCI, the International
Real Estate Federation and was a National Council member [2000-2010] of FIABCI
Malaysian Chapter.
An industry veteran with 30 years experience, Eric had worked for leading corporations in
Malaysia, Singapore and Vietnam. He specializes in business process mapping, project
management, construction management, quality management and had undertaken
numerous multi-million dollar property development projects in Singapore, Malaysia,
Vietnam and Africa.
Currently Eric is also a Certified Construction Project Manager and accredited trainer
with the Construction Industry Development Board of Malaysia, and Quality
Management Consultant to key property development companies in Malaysia. He was
appointed as Special International Investment Consultant/Advisor to the Board
Chairman of a township development company in Vietnam and Special Advisor, Real
Estate and Property Investments of a venture board consultancy firm based in Canada and
Singapore.

About Huat LIM

Huat LIM left for England in the early eighties and then settled in London for the next 10 years. He
graduated at the Architectural Association under Prof. Peter COOK and the late Ron HERRON both
of Archigram fame and the late Prof. Dr. Gordon PASK. Huat traveled to Nimes to work on La
Mediateque de Nimes and then lived in Lyons to work for Francoise Jourda et Gilles Perraudin
Associes before returning briefly to Paris and then London. Huat has worked for 7 years for Sir
Norman Foster, Stansted Airport being the main Project. He also worked for Zaha Hadid for a period
and thereafter for Ron Herron at Imagination Limited London where he met with John Randle and
Gary White. John helped designed and build the extension to Natural History Dinosaur Museum. In
Malaysia Huat was Project Architect for Asia Broadcast Centre for GDP, NTV Studios and Singapore
National Library for Dato Dr. Ken YEANG. Huat has been Managing Director for ZLG Design since
its inception in 1992. Huat also teaches at the Malaya University and currently runs discourse vide
ADF Design Forum and helped coordinate ADFISS International Summer School Programmes in
Kuala Lumpur.
Currently the Managing Director of ZLG Sdn Bhd, Huat also regularly speaks at various conferences
and symposiums and have taught at local universities. A graduate member of Lembaga Akitek
Malaysia (No AG/L 279), Huat holds qualifications such as R.I.B.A. (London), A.R.C.U.K. and UTM

Ir.Foo is a well qualified electrical and electronic engineer who brings with him decades of
experiences in engineering design, procurement, and construction management. During his tenure
with the Public Works Department, Ir. Foo was responsible for the planning and designing of
infrastructural work and building electrical services, such as, electrical distribution systems, telephone
services, public address and sound reinforcement systems, security system, illumination, street
lighting, standby generator sets, uninterruptible power supply systems, stage lighting and many more.

Dr Y. Chong is currently the Executive Director and Principal Consultant of RekaFikir Sdn Bhd, a boutique
consulting firm, registered with the Ministry of Finance, Malaysia providing specialized value-add business
technology consultancy and management services. The experience he brings includes holding public appointments
and more than 18 years in the private sector as a senior executive. He served his public appointment with
Technology Park Malaysia Corporation Sdn Bhd (TPM), the premier science park in Malaysia under the Ministry
of Science, Technology and Innovation (MOSTI), a centre for research and development on knowledge-based
industries as the Vice President of Technology Division. Dr Chong also served as Chief Operating Officer (COO)
for TPM IT Sdn Bhd, a technology subsidiary to TPM in providing technology consultancy (TCO), facility
management (FMO) and project management office (PMO) responsible for large scale installations such as the
Malaysian Center for Remote Sensing (MACRES) weather monitoring ground and satellite systems. Prior to joining
Technology Park Malaysia, Dr Chong was the Director of Operation for a Microsoft Solution Partner (ISV)
specializing in business intelligence and analytics. Dr Chong was previously with Pfizer Incorporation, New York, a
leading and the largest Pharmaceutical company as Director of Global Business Technology for Asia Pacific /
Australia / New Zealand region. Dr Chong has participated and presented papers at international forums organized
by NGOs including the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific, UNESCAP.
