Seminar on "Re-positioning Corporate Learning for the 21st Century” Speaker: Christian Kuhna Human Resource, Future Learning & Learning Campus, adidas Group Date: 20 December 2013 (Fri), 7:00-8:00pm Venue: The Hong Kong Polytechnic University Abstract Imagine a work environment where you can decide when and where you would like to learn. An environment that inspires you to choose how and what you learn based on your personal learning style and development goals. Where you can be an expert and teach others, or learn with and from your network through sharing and collaboration. A vision that appeals to you? It’s becoming a reality with the adidas Group’s ‘Learning Campus’ In today’s competitive environment, it’s those businesses with a strong learning culture that outperform their peers in innovation, profitability and customer service. Managed well, this learning culture can turn into a corporation’s most important source of competitive advantage. It’s in line with this thinking to strengthen our learning culture by making learning more accessible, innovative, open and collaborative. The goal is to reposition learning by creating a new culture of selfdriven, life-long learning, in which every employee owns his/her career and his/her personal development. The adidas Group Learning Campus will introduce a one-stop shop for all training, learning and development opportunities of the adidas Group – for all brands, markets and functions. It will meet the needs and demands of all employees, especially those of future generations, and blend the digital world with both physical learning and stimulating innovation spaces.
