Finding a potion he believes will work, he tries it out on himself to disastrous effect. His evil half is an alter ego named Mr. Hyde who emerges to wreak murder and mayhem. In the end, a well meaning Jekyll must pay the price for the crimes committed by Hyde, and is punished for his own sin of tampering with nature and the will of God.

On returning with him to his cabin in the mountains, Milly is surprised to learn that Adam is one of seven brothers living in the same cabin. The brothers have been named alphabetically from the Old Testamentand in chronological order are: Adam, Benjamin, Caleb, Daniel, Ephraim, Frank (short for Frankincense, the Old Testament having no names beginning with F), and Gideon. All of the brothers have red hair and are well over six feet tall, except Gideon, who is younger and shorter than his brothers.

9. Boy Gets Girl! A friend sets Theresa up on a blind date with a nice guy named Tony who works in the computer industry. It is awkward, but not too awkward as Theresa accepts a second date. By the end of this date, she realizes that he is not right for her and politely excuses herself from the date. Tony continues to intrude further into Theresa’s life, with unexpected visits to Theresa’s office and unsettling phone messages at her home. Theresa starts to worry as she realizes that Tony knows where she lives. At her co-worker's urging, she calls the police, but when Officer Beck investigates, Theresa realizes there is not much that the police can do. Beck suggests moving out of her apartment and changing her name. Despite all her efforts to avoid him by hiding in her work and opening up to her colleagues, she eventually realizes that he has and will always have control over her life. She eventually loses everything, including her identity, humanity, and will, as she changes her name and moves out of New York City to Denver, a shadow of the woman she once was.

This two-character comedy takes place in suburban Westchester County, New York kitchen of Maude Mix, who is having a tough day: her husband is off on a weekend spree with his secretary and she can't get rid of the pesky neighbor who has just moved up from Texas. Hannah Mae Bindler badgers Maude into friendship and the two eventually join forces against their errant and erring husbands. This long running Off-Broadway hit starred Susan Sarandon and Eileen Brennan and features terrific roles which may be played by actresses from twenty to fifty.
13. Defiance Defiance is a 2005 play by AmericanplaywrightJohn Patrick Shanley. The play concerns a colonel who promotes a black officer solely based on race. The black officer finds out that the colonel has had a brief affair with a private's wife and is torn between his desire to go unnoticed and his realization that he must do the right thing.
