MARKET UPDATES & STOCK RECOMMENDATION

November 2012 retail sales declined 8.7% in
November 2013, mainly due to lower motor
vehicles sales. Excluding motor vehicles, retail
sales went up by 0.4% On the other hand,
retailers of motor vehicles telecommunications
apparatus & computers recorded declines in
sales of 5.8% and 2.2% respectively compared
to the previous month

DBS Group Holdings has been named one of
S&P Capital IQ's top 10 Asia stock picks for 2014
- the only Singapore stock to make the list.
Singapore's largest bank, with a market cap of
S$42.2 billion, has appreciated 15.2 per cent in
2013, outperforming the Straits Times Index's
0.3 per cent decline.

Singapore Airlines Ltd and Air New Zealand
have signed an agreement to form an alliance,
enabling Air New Zealand to fly the AucklandSingapore route and Singapore Airlines to
operate the Airbus A380 to New Zealand.
