MARKET UPDATES & STOCK RECOMMENDATION
 The Singapore economy grew 3.7% Y-o-Y in 2013,
near the top end of the official forecast of 3.5-4%.
HONGKONG LAND
 Sembcorp Marine’s subsidiary PPL Shipyard has
secured repeat order worth US$211.5 mn to build a
jack up rig for Perisai (L) Inc, a unit of Perisai
Petroleum Teknologi Bhd.
 Total bank lending in Singapore rose 2.1% in
November from October, helped by a rise in loans to
the building and construction sectors. Loans and
advances by domestic banking units in the city-state
amounted to S$565.8 billion (US$446.4 billion) last
month, up from S$554.3 billion in October. From a
year earlier, November bank lending rose 17.4%.
 MEDICAL oncology & haematology company
TalkMed Group plans to list on Catalist to raise
capital for expansion. TalkMed will issue new shares,
but the number of shares to be offered, their pricing
and the timing of the IPO have yet to be set.
