People in other nations despised me but the fact that I wanted Catholicism to grow I had do start war. I sent my armada against to invade England. We fleeted and confronted a number of encounters with the English, so we sailed back to Spain by using a northern route around Scotland and Ireland, which we faced hard times when our ships soon began to sank because of the harsh weathers in 1588. I saw that my country became one of the most powerful countries during my reign in the 16 th century; which included the West Indies, Cuba, Florida, Mexico, Central America, parts of South America and the Philippines I walked the earth as King of Spain from 1556 to 1598 Insert the dates of Phillip II’s reign here
