Student Objective(s): At the end of this lesson, students will have learned (1) to dribble a
soccer ball using both feet and different parts of the foot, (2) different moves related to
dribbling a soccer ball.
Material and Equipment Needed: 25 soccer balls, cones, jerseys, equipment for obstacles.
Lesson Tasks/Activities: Cues/Questions Space
1. Preview/Initial Activity/Warm-Up: Walk the track.
Students walk track until music begins

2. Fitness Activity: Jogging: Students will jog for 2
minutes and may choose the slow track or fast track.
Perform wall stretches until signal is given.
Students will choose a different fitness activity
related to the fitness gram assessment (curl ups,
push-ups, jump rope, etc).

3. Lesson Activities: Skill/Lead-Up Game Activities:
Dribbling skills to lead up to soccer:
o Use different parts of foot: inside, outside, shoe
laces, bottom.
o Small touches to keep ball close
