5. Best Fit
Although my site provides the necessary
requirements for both species, I believe the Rhode
Island Red Laying Chickens are the best initial fit.
Herford Cattle required a large infrastructure that I
am not prepared for at this time such as a winter
water supply to the barn, fence around the grazing
area and I do not possess all the instruments for hay
production.
Chicken production is more reasonalble, lower cost,
quick return, and require less space.
