Course content
The ITIL Service Management Expert Boot-camp is an intensive, three-week course that
uses the ITIL Service Capability Modules (PPO, SOA, OSA & RCV) and the Expert module
(MALC) to deliver a deep level of understanding of ITIL processes and roles, how they are
implemented, how they interact and how they transform and enhance the organisation.
The Service Management Expert Boot-camp will enable delegates to develop their profes-
sional knowledge from foundation to expert in two thirds of the time it would normally
take; and at a considerably lower cost.
The course consists of lectures, detailed group exercises, extensive group discussions, ex-
amination technique training, practice examinations and culminates in invigilated exams
throughout the final week. Delegates attending this course will be immersed in the ITIL
Service Capability modules and will understand the value to the business that the ITIL
Service Lifecycle process, functions and their activities can bring. As well as an in-depth
review of the key processes needed to support best practice IT Service Management the
course reviews the associated activities, roles, responsibilities, challenges, risks and critical
success factors for implementing, managing and improving IT Service Management based
on the ITIL framework. The courses covered in this boot-camp are:
•• Release, Control and Validation (RCV)
•• Operational Support and Analysis (OSA)
•• Service Offerings and Agreements (SOA)
•• Planning, Protection and Optimisation (PPO)
•• Managing Across the Lifecycle (MALC)
This three-week intensive training course is de-
signed to support rapid learning and profession-
al development at an enhanced level. Our expe-
rienced training consultants guide the delegates
from foundation level through to Expert. This
course is not for the faint-hearted and requires
personal stamina and commitment to a fully im-
mersive experience that will demand considera-
ble effort and determination. The entire delivery
process is underpinned by our learning manage-
ment system to guide delegates through the
process and supports consolidated progression
through to a successful conclusion. All examina-
tions are completed within the course schedule
so delegates complete the course with a suc-
cessful outcome. The amount of personal de-
termination and commitment required to com-
plete this course should not be underestimated.
