VCEDA's 42nd Annual Business Outlook Conference
The BOC is VCEDA’s premier event and typically attracts between 200-300 business
and community leaders from throughout Ventura County. The event is scheduled
for November 7, 2012 from 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 p.m. at the Ventura County Office of
Education Conference Center located at 5100 Adolfo Road in Camarillo.
As Ventura County’s primary economic advocate, VCEDA has used the BOC to focus
on specific issues that impact business in our county. Though we are just starting
to plan for this year’s event, the theme is based on education and its link to
business. Our goal is to help ensure a skilled, quality workforce to enable
businesses to flourish and grow in our new economy.
We have invited Tony Wagner, Innovation Education Fellow, Technology and
Entrepreneurship at Harvard and author of The Global Achievement Gap and
Creating Innovators: The Making of Young People Who Will Change the World to be
the keynote speaker.
