- Original title contained an ambitious Easy. Easier is more realistic.
- This project is not a pilot, that aims for innovators; but we aim at the late early adopters & early majority. Those who want to and are motivated, but don ’ t have much time or expertise.
- Surf schema: academic workflow Academic workflow is complex Right half: that is for longer term, made possible by repositories But repositories concentrate on publication have too limited contact with the actual work done before - only dealing with finished data at the publication end doesn ’t work - solution: we must move into the research process. Sneakily!
- Pilot project for enhanced publications: JALC, Journal of Archeology in the Low Countries
- The idea: bring the practices from JALC in production environment as plug-in for OJS.

- Now, the dirty laundry. OJS is niet gebruiksvriendelijk. AUP gebruikt het niet meer, wil dat wel maar wacht tot release met meer gebruiksvriendelijkheid. OJS bleek bugs te bevatten waardoor het project gestaakt moest worden. Uiteindelijk zijn deze bugs opgelost binnen ons project, fixes opgenomen in de main tree. OJS wordt veel gebruikt maar is een vrij gesloten gemeenschap.
