Introduction Many municipalities and other agencies wish to reduce their fleet emissions due to rising fuel prices, global warming, and increased federal funding for alternative fuel vehicles and technology Evergreen Fleets is a certification program run by the Puget Sound Clean Air Agency that awards certification to fleets demonstrating emissions reductions and investment in alternative fuel technologies

Deliverables Quantitative: Compile the following City fuel emissions data Vehicle equipment inventory list Full documentation of Vehicle Miles Traveled (VMT’s) Fuel receipts to demonstrate annual fuel consumption Quantitative Create a Data Diary explaining the steps necessary to compile, process, and analyze the fuel receipts data and VMT’s Qualitative Create a series of Best Practices documents outlining policies that the City must take to invest in alternative fuel technologies and reduce emissions
