There is a system to activating entrepreneurship in any city that meets some basic requirements. By identifying networks and clusters of innovation and invention and bringing these together in a coordinated manner at a grassroots level within a society, a city's innovation capability can be dramatically increased. Startup Bendigo, or how to hack a city, was a presentation I gave to the Bendigo Inventor Awards in 2013 on behalf of Bendigo City Council.
