Cutting a Plane Surface
Using Traditional Tools and Techniques
Cutting a Plane Surface   Using numbers 1 to 8 , put the following processes into the order you would follow to

                          produce a flat surface

                          Using drafts, finish centre section using inch chisel                      ________

                          Check stone for twist using boning blocks                                  ________

                          Rough out centre section to 5mm—7mm using mel-point                        ________

                          Polish surface to leave a clean, neat finish                               ________

                          Reduce centre section to 2mm-3mm using teeth tool                          ________

                          Mark cutting lines on with square and scriber                              ________

                          Set corners in using mel-point, teeth tool and chisel                      ________

                          Join corners using marginal drafts                                         ________
