1. ESSENCE OF HINDU DHARMA AS PER MAHABHARATA
Dr.T.V.Rao MD
Our lives are full of conflicts every moment of life is associated with tension
arising from within and without our consent. We deviate from principles of
Dharma as written in the great epic Mahabharata, and reap the consequences,
may not be very soon but certainly later, that many agree as Destiny when many
unnatural events happen in our Lives. The poem's theme focuses on the Hindu concept
of dharma, or sacred duty. In essence, the epic story represents an extended exploration of the
responsibilities set forth by the code of dharma. In addition to recounting a heroic tale,
the Mahabharata contains a collection of writings on a broad spectrum of human learning,
including ethics, law, philosophy, history, geography, genealogy, and religion. It also features a
number of legends, moral stories, and local tales all woven into an elaborate narrative. If you
analyze characters all the characters we see around, our friends and relatives, are embedded in
the Mahabharata, think about self we are good and bad as per the circumstances, which is found
in the pages of Mahabharata may be found elsewhere, but what is not in these pages exists
nowhere. The concept of dharma, or duty, is a large issue in the Mahabharata. The characters in
the work all face the issue of dharma in one way or another and their response to it forms both
the structure of the work and the lessons taken from it. The Hinduism is a ocean of thinking with
many potentials to think and practice to suit oneself. Out many Hindu scriptures Mahabharata
signifies is only Truth or Dharma wins any battle in the end. To show Jealousy is
the root for evil causes to prove the thought "live and let live “It is important to refer
to the teachings of our ancestors, however when it comes to our real life and its experiences
the visitor would be well advised to introspect and gain new insights from the world to make
realistic decisions for the betterment of his or her own life. We all should realize that all this
knowledge and information and more is available in the environment. We live as we
surrounded by good and evil which we accept makes a difference for us, He or she is
required only to find it before making his or her decisions with respect to improving present
life circumstances. The Mahabharata tells us we all have to live and die by our karmic
cycle. Thus works the perfect reward-and-punishment, cause-and-effect, and code of the
universe. Human greed is expressed in Mahabharata as we see the same in corruption
and acquiring the wealth without hard work.It understands the world is powered by
desire. And that desire is an unknowable thing. Desire conjures death, destruction, and
distress. We blame many for our failures, tragedies, if we think and intercept we are the
only creators of our own destiny, man a part of Action and Reactions cycle, which is
deciding our future – Dr.T.V.Rao MD professor of Microbiology
