5. GW-Web Actions You have many options with the tabs across the top: Update : refresh your inbox (get any new mail that has been received Delete : with one or more emails highlighted, you may delete them Move : with an email highlighted, you may move to a folder in your cabinet Accept/Decline : if you have received an appointment from someone, you may choose to accept or delete it; choosing to accept it automatically puts it on your calendar. Read Later : you may mark an email you have read to “read later” causing it to appear BOLD in your inbox.
6. GW-Web New… Clicking on the “New…” in the upper left corner allows you to create new instances of any of those items. Note: “ Posted” … the difference between any item and the “posted” item is: the posted item is only for YOU.
7. GW-Web new mail You have several options across the top of a new email To: the email address of the person you wish to contact Subject: include a subject; most people will NOT open an email with no subject line CC: copying to another individual sends them a copy of this same email BC: this copies the email to someone else without the receiver knowing you are doing so. Your email sent in groupwise is automatically time and date stamped.
8. GW Your email is only as secure as you make it. Please be sure to always remember to “logout” of your account when not actually using your email.
