On the UK spectrum I would suggest - reiterating the long term vision of all significant uk resources being on the NGS. Backed up by - PPARC approval of GridPP for next 4 years and work within gridpp to get sites to affiliate/partner - Hector to be (at least) and NGS affiliate and support NGS interfaces - PPARC HPC call requiring a specific case for why any funded activity should not be a part of NGS (ie assume NGS as default) - In Europe, inform everyone of the work toward the EGI. Within the UK STFC has been asked, by UK e-Science Directors, to represent the UK in EGI design study.
