• What families told us:
• 85% said families used Challengers because it ‘is a place for my child to play and
have fun.
• 73% said that Challengers was a significant or essential part of their families’ lives,
and that life without Challengers would be pretty difficult or family life would be
likely to breakdown.
• 74% of families said we are different because of our staff.
• 23% families said their child had been excluded from other services.
• What play and youth workers told us:
• 98% said they have a better understanding of the experiences of disabled children,
young people and their families since working at Challengers.
• 24% are planning to work in health and 28% are going to work in education after
leaving Challengers.
• 99% staff believe we deliver against The Challengers Approach and 93% would
recommend Challengers as an employer

Challengers Feedback • What families told us: • 85% said families used Challengers because it ‘is a place for my child to play and have fun. • 73% said that Challengers was a significant or essential part of their families’ lives, and that life without Challengers would be pretty difficult or family life would be likely to breakdown. • 74% of families said we are different because of our staff. • 23% families said their child had been excluded from other services. • What play and youth workers told us: • 98% said they have a better understanding of the experiences of disabled children, young people and their families since working at Challengers. • 24% are planning to work in health and 28% are going to work in education after leaving Challengers. • 99% staff believe we deliver against The Challengers Approach and 93% would recommend Challengers as an employer
