4. As the previous slide demonstrates, tuition costs continue to increase as the years pass. In fact, tuition has almost doubled in the last 10 years. Just from last year 2007, the costs have increased by 7.4% and will continue to escalate unless some type of action is taken to prevent this constant rate of inflation. This is not an isolated issue, one can see it affects every province in Canada. The problem does not just transpire in Canada or the United States, the high cost of education is a serious concern world wide. Today’s students are the future of tomorrow. Therefore, it would benefit society as a whole, to educate and prepare all of those willing students worldwide.
