• Shell structures are made for protecting every
thing inside they have a solid out side and a
weak center.
• An example is an egg.

• Truss bridges are for letting people cross
something safely. Truss bridges are made of a
lot of triangles.

• Arch bridges are arches that people can cross
on top and can hold lots of weight .

• Suspension bridges are bridges that are
secured at both ends by cables or ropes
