"Following the completion of the AT&T National I am

new coach and with it battling through injuries I am
very disappointed to end our very successful
partnership at this time. Having started my career with
Australian greats I am excited about the future working
for another Australian." Whose press release?

This team was a particularly well-liked team within
Formula One circles for many reasons. In the

friendliness, accessibility, and lack of corporate culture
(universally regarded as having the best espresso in F1).
On the track, their cars were regarded by many as well-
designed for their tiny budget (in comparison to front-
runners such as Ferrari and McLaren), their low
position recognised as a result of a lack of funds (and
engine power) rather than a poor car. Which team?

‘The Simpsons’ Season 21 Episode 12 revolves around the formation of
a mixed-doubles team by Homer and Marge including Principal Skinner
and his mother. Marge, as it turns out, is a natural at the sport, having
swept a broom around the house for years on end, but Homer
threatens to bring the team down. Marge is faced with a difficult
decision: possibly win by asking Homer to leave the team or ruin their
chances by keeping him.
“The appearance of _____________ on ‘The Simpsons’ is great
exposure for our wonderful sport. The lingo is a little off. They shoulda
consulted a real player.”, said American pro Johnny Spillane.
The Canadian Press, Vancouver wrote -“In a sport that finds itself
struggling for self-respect and legitimacy, sometimes any publicity is
good publicity.”

42. CYCLING
In the Tour de France the rider who finishes last, rather than dropping
out along the way, is accorded a distinction. Riders may compete to
come last rather than just near the back. Often the rider who comes
last is remembered, while those a few places ahead are forgotten. The
revenue the last rider will generate from later appearance fees can be
greater than had he finished second to last, although this was more
true when riders still made much of their income from post-Tour
criteria.
The phrase referring to the competitor in last place in Tour de France
comes from the French words for the object hung on the caboose of a
railway train, which conductors would look for in order to make sure
none of the couplings had become disconnected. Give me the phrase.

He was said to be the best all-rounder of his day. He made his first-
class debut for Sussex in 1845 aged 18, weighing only 7 stone(45 kg).
Initially a fast round-arm bowler, his pace slowed in later years. While
bowling fast, he took on average nearly 10 wickets in every game. In
1850, playing for the South against the North at Lord's, he took all 10
wickets in the second innings, all clean bowled (still the only instance
of all ten wickets being taken "bowled" in any first-class match). In
all, he took 1,109 first-class wickets with a bowling average of 10.32 He
was also a fine batsman (4,140 first-class runs with a batting average of
14.12, an average which was very good for the time). He scored only
two centuries, the first in 1849 and the second was the only century
scored in 1855. Who?

He is best known for his world record set at the Mexico
Olympics in 1968, which remained the world record for
almost 23 years. It is alleged that he enjoyed a number
of advantageous environmental factors. At an altitude
of 2240 m (7349 ft), Mexico City's air had less
resistance than air would have at sea level. This allows
runners to run faster. During the same hour Lee
Evans set the world record for 400 metres that lasted
for almost 20 years.

This term has been used since at least the mid 1890s—when it was
used to describe the name of a street gang in London—at
approximately the same time as Manchester's street gangs, known as
the "Scuttlers" were gaining notoriety. The word first appeared in print
in London police-court reports in 1894 referring to the name of a gang
of youths in the Lambeth area of London. In August 1898 a murder in
Lambeth committed by a member of the gang drew further attention
to the word which was immediately popularized by the press. The
London-based newspaper Daily Graphic wrote in an article on 22
August 1898, "The avalanche of brutality which, under the name of
_________... has cast such a dire slur on the social records of South
