 QR Codes
 QR Code (Quick Response Code) is a type of matrix barcode or often referred to as
2D barcode
 Invented by the Toyota subsidiary Denso Wave in 1994 to track vehicles during the
manufacturing process.
 Data capacity is 7,089 Numeric characters and 4,296 characters Alphanumeric
 Readable from any direction in 360 degrees
 QR codes has error correction capability, data can be restored even if the symbol is
partially dirty or damaged
 Can trigger events (Open URL, Dial a phone#, SMS text, etc)
