Doctor Who makes such a great birthday theme - if you love getting creative with your parties, then

Getting Started with your Doctor Who Birthday Party
Who's invited? Big party or small? Age range? Will you be focusing more on games and activities,
watching the show, or something else? Want to go all out on themed food? Is it going to be fancy
dress, where everyone comes as their favourite character or alien?

First up, you'll need to invite people to your party, and what better way to encourage attendance
than with a clever Dalek or Cyberman invitation?
Think up some fun ways to phrase the invites - such as "Please come to my party - or you will be
exterminated!" or "Come to my party and travel through time and space to another dimension - it's
going to be out of this world!"

Doctor Who Costumes
Are you Dressing up for the Party?
You can have extra fun by making the party fancy dress! Get kids (and adults) to come dressed as
their favourite Doctor, companion or alien! The great part about Doctor Who costumes is that you
can be creative putting them together. You can buy costumes and items, but you can also make
many great outfits yourself, too!

DOCTOR WHO PARTY MASKS
If dressing up is not on the party menu, you could always create a bit of fun and hilarity with some
Doctor Who party masks! To avoid squabbles over who gets to be who, you could make them part of
a fun game where everyone randomly ends up with a different mask at the end. Then let the fun
begin - Doctor and friends VS aliens and enemies!

tableware. Plates, cups, table settings - lucky for us, there are some cool official products out there!

below, too.
A party table can look great when decorated in the party theme. As a basic, start with a themed
tablecloth, either with the theme design on, or in a matching plain colour. You can then incorporate
the theme into place settings, tableware and accessories. Think about napkins, serving platters and
bowls, cutlery, table centerpieces, party blowers, fun toys and anything else that takes your creative
fancy!

Serve up some delicious space nosh on a themed plate! The Dalek plates above have a very striking
and fiery design - and if you have any spare, you can use them for decoration too!

4. A plain blue tablecloth is a good alternative option to a Doctor Who printed one, but would be best if
