I like the elemental simplicity of this one, which captures the depth of "chi" in rocks:

even the rock
is dreaming --
shooting star

For similar reasons, this uncluttered yet succinctly direct one is also moving:

the dark eyes
of the sphinx open
to starlight

And this one, though a stretch from the pictorial prompt, is fresh and gritty at the same time, taking us into the
desert with marvelous immediacy:

Все хайку Ханы коснулись моего сердца.
Иосиф из темницы мог видеть то, что было на рисунке...
Про египетский зал- точно в музеях время как бы остановилось и дыхание вечности я всегда там чувствую.
Третий сти Ханы не совсем по теме, но очень узнаваемая картинка.
Стих Вячеслава мне кажется очень точно попадает в тему- мимолетность жизни бабочки-однодневки
сродни падающей звезде-так скоротечно!
папирус как свидетельство древности как и сфинкс, которые дошли до нас из глубины веков... эти три
строчки очень красивы и нравятся мне!

Спасибо, Марина, очень интересно. А наш красавец с красивыми строчками куда-то запропал... :)))

Не завидуешь, аха -- а сама делаешь мою задачу не легче :) Да, Пенино хайку можно и так и этак
перевести, ты точно подметила. И не только её хайку -- ещё такие есть, и немало! Самое первое вот,
например (Джонни). Но я в этот раз не написала совсем вторых вариантов, просто уже сил не хватило
(я тебе уже сказала, что только выложить этот пост заняло три часа).

Почитай на досуге ещё тут под твоим комментарий Сюзан (ты её знаешь по ренку группе) -- интересно!
Вообще взгляды других так интересно читать-узнавать ... :)

deeper reading has a fall of emotion and mood.
