Implemented a Labor Analysis Business Intelligence solution for a national construction company.
Used SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) to define imports of the data, conversion of data using
lookups and fuzzy lookups, bui8lt scheduling packages in both the SSIS stack and Share Point.
Created cubes, dimensions and KPIs using SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS) representing
aggregations in several different ways - hierarchically and using custom groupings that the company
will use to analyze performance.
Created MDX queries according to business requirements.
Designed Pivot Table source for Excel and Share Point.
Developed several detail and summary reports including line and pie charts, trend analysis reports and
sub-reports according to business requirements using SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS).
Implemented business intelligence dashboards using MOSS 2007 Report Center and Excel Services
producing different summary results based on user view and role membership.
Created score cards with executive summary dashboards in MS Office Performance Point Server 2007
Dashboard Designer deriving data from a SQL Server 2005 OLAP data source and deployed to

Accomplishments: Rank and Payroll requiring multiple lookups, load of errors to a separate database
that I designed, and load into the DB2/PeopleSoft system.

Served as Custom Programmer for the Department of Defense under multiple project contracts across
five years and developed more than 500 new systems, programs and tools.
Financial based data analysis and extraction to provide Savings and Earnings ratio’s to Naval
Command, GAO, Appropriations Committee. Highly visible and exacting figures were required on
all levels of this project.
Design a mainframe Dashboard for South East Naval Command THRIFT Saving Program on a half
day cycle to show positive or negative shifts in payroll and account activities. This was designed pre-
BI tools, I used COBOL and JCL to analyze and generate data and used Excel to provide dashboard
icons.
Metairie Bank and Trust │ IT Director/Senior Programmer 2000-2001
Designed and implemented customized banking systems to process currency exchanges/transactions,
enhanced banking servers and program coding to improve processing time while expanding on-line
capabilities.
Selected and installed new technology, ran LAN wires and hubs to broaden data access, added a
firewall and filter system to the network and trained over 100 employees on system usage.

Designed and coded various programs including DET (Daily Exception Transactions) designed to
analyze banking transactions, flag errors and report data file corruption. Updated rule files and rule
structures based on banking regulations, employee access authorization and growing needs of the
organization.
Developed and designed the GMI (General Mercantile Interface) program which manages
international, national, online, batch, derivative stock sales and purchases, stock expects and CIT
wire transactions.
