Fashion as a Form of Art

According to Webster’s New World Dictionary, Art is defined as aesthetic work. Aesthetic work could be anything a painting, sculpture, music or even FASHION!!

This clothing line uses rhinestones, bright catchy colors and skulls to attract the eye.

[object Object],[object Object],Avant Garde is defined as fashion forward or an individualistic look (fabsugar.com). Avant Garde uses a lot of fabric of different types of textures and colors. In order to consider fashion as art, one has to think outside of the box. Not only is high fashion considered art, but what we wear on an everyday basis is a form of art. People tend to think that art only involves paper, pens and clay. However, after this project I hope you think otherwise.
