7.  Vibrant Gujarat 2013 Summit was
held at Gandhinagar on 11–13 January
2013.
 It is to be held at a special site
dedicated for Vibrant Gujarat
named Mahatma Mandir situated at
Gandhinagar sector 13.
 About 18,000 MoUs were signed
worth 26,000 crore in the two days.

8.  The previous edition of the summit in 2011
had resulted in about 7936 MoUs being
signed for investments worth $462 billion.
 The previous edition of the summit in 2009
had resulted in about 4,000 MoUs being
signed for investments worth Rs 12,00,000
crore (about $243 billion).
 The whopping investment would also result
in about 5.2 million additional jobs.

9.  The Vibrant Gujarat Summit 2013 has
attracted some 20,000 participants from 8
Indian states and 150 countries. Japan and
Canada are the partner countries.
 It is clearly evident that Gujarat is
definitely poised to become the Global
business hub of India, under the dynamic
and visionary leadership of Chief Minister
Narendra Modi.

10.  Under his inspiring guidance, the State
of Gujarat has been able to create a
very positive impact on international
investors and has generated confidence
amongst investors.
 Vibrant Gujarat 2013 succeeded in
establishing Gujarat as the most
favored destination of India along with
sharing of knowledge and technology
from across the world.
