12. So how does technology fit into how we learn?
We agreed that:
• Technology is part of our daily lives and should be readily
accessible
• It is a tool that allows children to create, share and reflect
while engaging with an authentic audience
13. So what did we do ???
•We took a strategic approach
•Ministry of Education ICT 3 year contract
•Get existing computers into every classroom
•Invest in new tools for learning
•Empower students and teachers by reflecting on and
enhancing our questioning culture with a focus on
learning to learn
14. •Invest $200,000 in technology for our students
•Utilise web tools to enhance the learning for our students
• Focus on sharing and reflecting on our learning
15. Which has lead to our use of blogging as one of our tools
for sharing and reflecting on learning
and developing
totally connected digital citizens
And our journey continues
