 The main goal of computer forensics is to
identify, collect, preserve, and analyze data in
a way that maintains the integrity of the
evidence collected so it can be used
effectively in a legal case.
 As the Digital Age evolves, digital forensics
has begun to take on a larger role in
investigations and court cases.

 Criminals are – knowingly or not – leaving
digital breadcrumbs on handheld devices like
GPSs and cellular phones, laptops and
desktops and removable storage
