3. Welcome to
We exist to spread a passion for the
supremacy of God in all things for the joy of
all peoples, through Jesus Christ.
4.
5. Father God, Make Us Like Jesus!
Responsive Call to Worship:
Exodus 34:29. Luke 6:40,
Romans 13:14, 8:29, and 2 Corinthians 3:18
When he came down from the mountain,
Moses did not know that the skin of his face shone
while he talked with [God].
A disciple is not above his teacher,
but everyone when he is fully trained will be like his
teacher.
Put on the Lord Jesus Christ,
and make no provision for the flesh, to gratify its desires.
6. Father God, Make Us Like Jesus!
Responsive Call to Worship:
Exodus 34:29. Luke 6:40,
Romans 13:14, 8:29, and 2 Corinthians 3:18
Those whom he foreknew he also predestined
to be conformed to the image of his Son,
in order that he might be the firstborn among many
brothers.
We all, with unveiled face, beholding the glory of the Lord,
are being transformed into the same image
from one degree of glory to another.

8. Be Thou My Vision
8th century Irish
translation: Mary Byrne (1905)
versified: Eleanor Hull (1912)
Be Thou my Vision, O Lord of my heart;
Naught be all else to me, save that Thou art.
Thou my best Thought, by day or by night,
Waking or sleeping, Thy presence my light.
9. Be Thou My Vision
8th century Irish
translation: Mary Byrne (1905)
versified: Eleanor Hull (1912)
Be Thou my Wisdom,
and Thou my true Word;
I ever with Thee and Thou with me, Lord;
Thou my great Father, I Thy true son;
Thou in me dwelling, and I with Thee one.
10. Be Thou My Vision
8th century Irish
translation: Mary Byrne (1905)
versified: Eleanor Hull (1912)
Be Thou my battle shield, sword for the fight;
Be Thou my dignity, Thou my delight;
Thou my soul’s shelter, Thou my high tower:
Raise Thou me heavenward,
O power of my power.
11. Be Thou My Vision
8th century Irish
translation: Mary Byrne (1905)
versified: Eleanor Hull (1912)
Riches I heed not, nor man’s empty praise,
Thou mine Inheritance, now and always:
Thou and Thou only, first in my heart,
High King of heaven, my Treasure Thou art.
12. Be Thou My Vision
8th century Irish
translation: Mary Byrne (1905)
versified: Eleanor Hull (1912)
High King of heaven, my victory won,
May I reach heaven’s joys,
O bright heaven’s Sun!
Heart of my own heart, whatever befall,
Still be my Vision, O Ruler of all.

14. Philippians 3:3-14
3 For we are the circumcision, who worship by the Spirit of God
and glory in Christ Jesus and put no confidence in the flesh—
4 though I myself have reason for confidence in the flesh also. If
anyone else thinks he has reason for confidence in the flesh, I
have more: 5 circumcised on the eighth day, of the people of
Israel, of the tribe of Benjamin, a Hebrew of Hebrews; as to the
law, a Pharisee; 6 as to zeal, a persecutor of the church; as to
righteousness under the law, blameless. 7 But whatever gain I
had, I counted as loss for the sake of Christ. 8 Indeed, I count
everything as loss because of the surpassing worth of knowing
Christ Jesus my Lord.
15. Philippians 3:3-14
For his sake I have suffered the loss of all things and count
them as rubbish, in order that I may gain Christ 9 and be found
in him, not having a righteousness of my own that comes from
the law, but that which comes through faith in Christ, the
righteousness from God that depends on faith— 10 that I may
know him and the power of his resurrection, and may share his
sufferings, becoming like him in his death, 11 that by any means
possible I may attain the resurrection from the dead.
16. Philippians 3:3-14
12 Not that I have already obtained this or am already perfect,
but I press on to make it my own, because Christ Jesus has
made me his own. 13 Brothers, I do not consider that I have
made it my own. But one thing I do: forgetting what lies behind
and straining forward to what lies ahead, 14 I press on toward
the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.
25. Hebrews 12:1-3
12:1 Therefore, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of
witnesses, let us also lay aside every weight, and sin which
clings so closely, and let us run with endurance the race that is
set before us, 2 looking to Jesus, the founder and perfecter of
our faith, who for the joy that was set before him endured the
cross, despising the shame, and is seated at the right hand of
the throne of God.
3 Consider him who endured from sinners such hostility
against himself, so that you may not grow weary or fainthearted.
34. May We Imitate Those Who Are Like Jesus
1 Corinthians 4:14-21
14 I do not write these things to make you ashamed, but to
admonish you as my beloved children. 15 For though you have
countless guides in Christ, you do not have many fathers. For I
became your father in Christ Jesus through the gospel. 16 I urge
you, then, be imitators of me. 17 That is why I sent you Timothy,
my beloved and faithful child in the Lord, to remind you of my
ways in Christ, as I teach them everywhere in every church.
18 Some are arrogant, as though I were not coming to you. 19 But
I will come to you soon, if the Lord wills, and I will find out not
the talk of these arrogant people but their power.
35. May We Imitate Those Who Are Like Jesus
1 Corinthians 4:14-21
20 For the kingdom of God does not consist in talk but in power.
21 What do you wish? Shall I come to you with a rod, or with love
in a spirit of gentleness?
1 Corinthians 10:31-11:1
So, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to
31
the glory of God. 32 Give no offense to Jews or to Greeks or to
the church of God, 33 just as I try to please everyone in
everything I do, not seeking my own advantage, but that of
many, that they may be saved.
11:1 Be imitators of me, as I am of Christ.

37. For All the Saints
William How (1864)
For all the saints, who from their labors rest,
Who Thee by faith
before the world confessed,
Thy name, O Jesus,
be forever blessed.
Alleluia, Alleluia!
38. For All the Saints
William How (1864)
Thou wast their rock,
their fortress and their might;
Thou, Lord, their captain
in the well fought fight;
Thou, in the darkness drear,
their one true Light.
Alleluia, Alleluia!
39. For All the Saints
William How (1864)
O may Thy soldiers, faithful, true and bold,
Fight as the saints who nobly fought of old,
And win with them the victor’s crown of gold.
Alleluia, Alleluia!
40. For All the Saints
William How (1864)
And when the strife is fierce,
the warfare long,
Steals on the ear the distant triumph song,
And hearts are brave, again,
and arms are strong.
Alleluia, Alleluia!
41. For All the Saints
William How (1864)
But lo! there breaks a yet more glorious day;
The saints triumphant rise in bright array;
The King of glory passes on His way.
Alleluia, Alleluia!
42. For All the Saints
William How (1864)
From earth’s wide bounds,
from ocean’s farthest coast,
Through gates of pearl
streams in the countless host,
And singing to Father, Son and Holy Ghost:
Alleluia, Alleluia!
