– Logistical problem when providing printed
textbook to the students
– Widening access to learning materials /
textbooks

• Launched in January 2012
7. RBV Today
• More than 900 E-textbooks. The collections are
planned to be increased by 2013.
• Total 17,114 students have accessed and read
e-textbook since January 2012 to May 2012 with
average time of visit is 4:15 minute
• 26.52% growth rate each week. Peak access
are 1-2 weeks before final exam.
• Average page accessed are 3 pages each visit
8. Conclusion
• There are no conclusive evidences that
RBV would disrupt printed textbooks sales
• RBV and Printed Textbooks are
complementary for students
